How to clean
Easy maintenance!
If you notice the drip speed becoming slower or the taste becoming more acidic, it's a sign that the filter is clogged and the extraction power has weakened, indicating the need for "maintenance."

Maintenance when drip speed slows down | By boiling | Fill a pot with enough water to completely submerge the filter, and boil for about 10 minutes. When boiling the filter, please ensure its opening faces upwards. If it faces downwards, the filter may float due to the bubbles generated at the bottom of the pot, which could prevent it from being boiled thoroughly. |
By using a microwave | Fill a heat-resistant container with enough water to completely submerge the filter, and then heat it in the microwave. The guideline for heating is approximately 5 minutes at 500W or 2 minutes and 30 seconds at 1000W. | |
Adding baking soda during maintenance can enhance its effectiveness. The recommended amount is approximately 2 tablespoons of baking soda per liter of water. After cleaning, carefully remove the filter to avoid burns, rinse it with hot water, and allow it to dry naturally. Rapid cooling under running water or similar methods may cause the filter to crack. Additionally, do not clean the filter over direct flame. |
